Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I picked up my new arctic silver X-51 c-2 coupe on Friday! If anyone is interested I will post pics.I have no idea how to do this but I can learn. A little bit of info for those of you on the fence about the $13k option: It is worth every dime! That flimsy H.P./torque chart on the Porsche website can't be correct.Low end torque is the same if not more than a stock '02/'03.I know this because I drove several '02's and 3's before and during the long wait for my beloved X-51. There is no comparison.I haven't exceeded 4500 rpm's yet but there IS a big difference.I was nervous that I would be dissapointed. Not so! Buy this option! I can't wait 'till I break it in.

POST 2Original post

POST 6Original post

Does Porsche claim any performance gains with the X51 package? I haven't been able to find them.

POST 7Original post

According to Porsche there isn't any change in torque. However the Torque band is distrubuted over a wider area .They say you gain an extra 25 horsepower which I am having trouble understanding.(torquexR.P.M.=horsepower)in any case I would imagine that drivability in the 50 to 125 mph area would be much improved ,this would be very useful on the track.

POST 8Original post

I only recall seeing one claim from Porsche which was the 0-200 kph time as 1.0 seconds faster

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
