Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello,i am Waz son and my daddy say his 996 is faster then the 993 turbo. i say the 993 turbo is faster then his non turbo snail car. Please tell me who is faster? Karim co-pilote 996

POST 3Original post

I would have to say 400 hp in the 993 Turbo can still whip a fresh 996. But, like wwest says, a crazy driver can beat a sane driver any day.

POST 4Original post

If equal drivers the 993TT will win out. On the track can keep pace on the twisty stuff but once straigtaways come the 993TT will dominate. Hope to see how the GT3 does against 993 or 996 TT on the track.Regards. Mike

POST 5Original post

Hi Karroumi, Let me tell you something, like son like father, i am sure you will have a P-car one day. Well let me tell you a secret, one month back, i whipped a 964Turbo with my C4S/02. Take care big boy

POST 6Original post

Hi Karim! I'm with you on this one! driver factor aside a 408HP/1500Kg 993Turbo is a mighty beast to beat with a 300HP/1400kg 996C2. So if you win the bet you get to drive the Porsche? I think is fair as long as you can reach the floor pedals right Waz ? (I started to learn to drive cars and bikes at 11-12 years of age ) And a 320HP/1500Kg 996C4S should indeed beat a 3.3l version 964Turbo (320HP/1500Kg), but if its the 3.6l version with 360HP (MY'92) then hats off to you Fadz

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 18Original post

Carlos: I havent got a clue why TT drivers are slower? They can haul butt in the straights, but I get em in the corners. I have a 996 C2 with nothing. No traction control, No limited slip. I drove my friends TT last fall and good grief, they are scary fast and fun.
