Well my SSR GT3 wheels with Bridgestone S-03 tires (225/40ZR18 & 285/30ZR18) showed up today, (good excuse to stay home). I put them on and quickly took some pictures (the weather was beautiful here in Florida today). My Porsche Page Anyone interested in my stock 17" wheels with Michelin MXX3 Pilot SX (205/50ZR17 & 255/40ZR17) mount (10K miles on them). The front tires look good, the rear tires show the wear. Paul

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sweet rims man! What do you think of those tires? Do they fill out the rear wheel well more? How wide is your rear rim in order to mount 285's? Just wondering in the event I want to get some wider rears in the spring!
Yes, Great look. A transformation for sure.
Beautiful rims, congrats
CKL93 , the wheels are 18x10 for the rear and 18x8 on the front. I believe this setup is now standard on MY03 with 18" wheels. As for filling out the wheel well, here are two views: The wheels and tires where purchased from TireRack.Com. I can't say enough about their service (mounting, balance, delivery); super guys.
Any idea what the wheels weigh? I'm considering ordering an '03 w/the stock 17s (for winter), and am wondering what 18s are available that approach the light weight of the Carrera 18s. Related question: anybody know what the Carrera 18s weigh? Thanks, Scott.
I don't know the weight of the wheels but the shipping weight for each tire/wheel was listed at 61 lbs. If you're talking to TireRack I'm sure they could provide you with the wheel weight specs.
I think the SSR GT3 weights 18 lbs for 18x8 & about 20 lbs for 18x10. I weight them on the bench scale in my company's warehouse. I think they are about the same weight as the '02+ Carrera 18" wheels.
I really like these wheels!
