Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What is the distance from your oil drain plug to the ground?

POST 2Original post

It should be 10 mm closer to the ground than stock.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, I understand that. But I'd like to know the real, as opposed to theoretical, distance. Also, I don't know the stock distance.

POST 4Original post

Kerry, Sorry I did not measure mine before it was gone, but I can tell you it did not lower that much. Here are the before and after numbers (ground to the fender lip). RF 26-1/2" / 26" LF 26-3/4" / 26-1/4" RR 26-1/2" / 25-3/4" LR 26-1/4" / 25-1/2" Not for sure if this helps. Scott

POST 5Original post

With the M030, you should probably install the engine protection plate.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, Scott. That is very interesting that you saw an even 1/2" drop all the way around. It's commonly known that the RoW M030 should drop the back .4" (10mm) and the front .8" (20mm) but the ride height tables also specify an error bar of .4". I would like to find some measurements from the oil drain plug (a bit more precise I think) as I think my USA standard suspension is low in the rear. I'm measuring about 25.75" to the fender lip for the rear.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
