Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Message from the father-in-law in Raliegh NC... "The North Carolina Museum of Art is having a display on "Porsche by Design" from Oct. 12, 2013 to Jan. 20, 2014. The will have more than 20 cars. Included is the handcrafted 1949 Type 356 Gmund coupe, which has an aluminum body. Also there is the 1965 Type 356C owned by Janis Joplin and painted in psychedelic colors. Also is a one of a kind design study, the Panamericana concept car presented to "Ferry" Prosche on his 80th birthday. You can find more about it at www.ncartmuseum.org/porsche." Good hunting. Dad He appreciates my Porsche Passion - and another excuse to visit the folks on the other coast. http://www.ncartmuseum.org/porsche

This is going to be an amazing exhibition. I've been privileged to see some of the behind the curtains planning and be involved to an extent. The NCMA staff understand the passion behind the marque and are committed to doing it justice. The individuals and organizations involved, from the Porsche Museum, to PCNA and PCA, to major collectors and the exhibition curator Ken Gross, are all absolutely top notch. If you are looking for a fall trip, this is it. And we have barbecue!

POST 3Original post

Even though it's close to a 3 hour drive I'll do my best to see this show!

I don't know if it's new, but I saw another video from the NC Museum of Art today. It focuses on the 911, and has a few nice 996 shots. Worth a look. http://vimeo.com/album/2337580/video/69511255
