Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just started to review all the mail on the transmission problem. I did not see anyone mention the problem on the Tip. Has anyone experienced this problem on a Tip?

POST 2Original post

Allright. So long as you promise not to panic , here's an old thread. <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=000666" target="_blank">Tiptronic in Japan</a>

POST 3Original post

That faulty Tip was mine (02 C2 coupe)...Since my new transmission went in I have driven 8000 kms (about 5000 miles) without further problems. Going to the USA for 5 weeks in July, going to really miss the car! Are you having any problems with your Tip, or are you just worried?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No problems yet. I have been working out of the country for 4 weeks, since about three days after the cars arrival. It still has about 300 miles on it. Just worried.
