Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want to buy my father a gift for his 2001 Lapis Blue c4 Cab. His car is totally stock. I already got him clear corner lights. I do not want to spend too much money, preferably under 100, but I am a bit flexible. Do you guys have any suggestions on a nice gift for his car?

POST 2Original post

A short shifter would be about $300. If that is to expensive how about some stuff from Zaino Bros? Zanio is the best and most easily applied polish/wax I have ever used.

Polished "PORSCHE" license plate plus wax products : ). Regards. Mike

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

He already has tons of waxes and polishes. The license plate is a good idea. Where can I get one?

How about a scale model of the his car or any other Porsche that he may like. I collect these and have purchased fromAuto Fanatics

You could get him the parts to convert the ash tray to a small cubby. Available from most dealers for well under $100, and it could be overnighted in time if you ordered it today. As an additional Father's Day gift you could install it together - about 15 minutes. Good luck.

LED tail/stop lamp/bulbs can be purchased from Ledtronics (on the web) for $48 each. You could really do it up fancy by adding two more "single filament" LED bulbs and put those in the outer stop light (left is currently used as "fog lamp")areas and wire them in parallel with the stop lamp circuit. Gives a more pronouned indication of brakes having been applied. A simple jumper in the fuse panel (left kick plate) would give him DRLs, turn on ALL parking/city lights when seat heat is available.

Umbrella that fits in the door sill on the passenger side, porsche key chains..... go to a dealership, they should have some items.
