Is this a picture of a 996 or one of those Italian cars? Take as much time as you need to study the photo... <a href="http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/020515/230/cz2ef.html" target="_blank">http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/020515/230/cz2ef.html</a> Perhaps the caption editor was a little distracted.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looks like a GT class racing Maranello to me.
There is a car in the picture??
[quote]Originally posted by Greg Fishman: <strong>There is a car in the picture??</strong><hr></blockquote> LOL! Yes, right behind the babe.
I agree with Viken. It is a modified Ferrari 550. The shape of the front light lens and the hood air-intake both belie classic 550 features. Regards.
Greg That girl is very attractive, so I don't think it's a PCA race. Since it's been established by experts that it is indeed a Ferrari, my guess is that it's the pace car on the starting grid at a Skip Barber race. M in C
Mike, LOL. I guess they are waiting for me to drive the Ferrari to get the field up to speed, do you think the Skippy cars could keep up? I agree it is a 550, the hood scoop gives it away. No reason for that on the 360.
Hi Greg I don't think you'd need a 550 to outpace a skippy car. You could do that in your 993. (although we may close the gap a bit in the turns). Perhaps I did a disservice to the pit babes at PCA races. They are attractive there, too. Especially if you like dirndle dresses. Here's a shot I took at last September's PCA race at Road America Course One (the RA-1 Ring): <a href="http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/020513/230/cyvzx.html" target="_blank">http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/020513/230/cyvzx.html</a> M in C
Gee, the headlights are on. <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
lol...maybe the ferrari logo on the hood gives it away..but maybe i'm just seeing things..hehe
I really don't see how anyone could have mistaken that for a 996.
Jim Would those be high-beams? Turbo-look [quote] I really don't see how anyone could have mistaken that for a 996. <hr></blockquote> Obviously. And as Boxer Spirit points out, the emblem is right there on the hood. What's amazing is the photojournalist who called that a 996 works for a respected motorsport website. Further proof you have to be a little skeptical of anything you see on the web. But that will not prevent me from occasionally posting a little eye candy for the board.

Greg I'll be ever vigilant for the appropriate material. Jim I always wondered what that particular smilie thing was for.... M in C
