Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I have a rear wiper and it sweeps 3 times too. Mike
maybe not relevant, but perhaps a Porsche design artifact, rear wiper on my 89 928 GT does the same thing.
Mine too. I think its meant to do that. Usually thats all I need anyway. Just to check out the girl behind me when its raining.
Uhh.... that is in the owners manual. Page 81 in my MY99 manual.. "Touch the symbol on the rocker switch - the rear wiper wipes three times" Loren (99 996)
Thanks for the responses. Has anyone modified it to 'on/off'?
