Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Yup, type POSH (GO). You can sort by state, country, etc. Funny coincidence - this seller works at my firm!

Ha wow, learned something today. I'll have to check that out on wednesday.

POST 10Original post

An OEM stand (wall mount) costs about $650 by itself. Also, if it's in the right color, this is not a bad deal for someone and it wouldn't make them clueless. $500 for a Silver or other common color top $650 for an OEM stand $$$$ for an OEM quality paint job that you hope is a good match ------- $1750+

Paid $450 for mine (factory paint match with Porsche cover and Porsche folding stand). While shopping around, I saw a few listed (just the top) on CL/ebay in excess of $1000. I'd like to think that I did not overpay because I had a clue However, I cannot/should not stop other people from how they want to spend their money

POST 12Original post

You can buy stands all day long for $100. The hardtop delete option wasn't even that much for God's sake. I routinely see hardtops on Craigslist for $250-$500. This is a "nice price or crack pipe" listing, and I vote crack pipe.

Theres a guy laughing all the way to the bank if/when someone bites.

POST 14Original post

A cheap price on a silver top isn't a bargain if you don't have a silver car.

POST 15Original post

I have a blue hardtop on my car and a wall mount on the wall of my garage. Not looking to sell it, but the first $1,750 takes it.

Oh yeah, I'll undercut you by $50 so the first $1700 gets mine!

Lucky me then because I made sure the top I bought was a an OEM factory paint match to my arctic silver car (flawless paint and liner, glass and seals in perfect shape, rear defroster works). With the stand and cover, essentially paid $300 for the top......which is a huge bargain for me.

POST 18Original post

Mine came with the car but I paid $319 for a manual ceiling crank. I am well satisfied and can remove and install the top on my own. You can also get an electric hoist for less then $600. I went for the manual as I only use it twice a year anyway. http://www.hoistlifts.com/hard-top-h...E-PORSCHE.html
