Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a used one that I got a while back on eBay. Haven't used it as car is driven regularly. However, recently have been out of town for 3 weeks, came back to crappy weather - car starts fine, but I figure why tempt fate. Plugged one end in to the lighter socket and the other into the wall outlet. yellow light comes on so it looks like it is on, but nothing else is lit up - is this normal? Didn't get an instruction manual with it. Thanks! Ted

POST 2Original post

I have this model http://www.realtruck.com/ctek-battery-chargers/ There's a "Mode" button you press to select different modes. Just keep pushing it and it will cycle through different modes. When you select "normal", it will start the charging cycle. Have you googled for user manual btw? Should be one online...

POST 3Original post

yeah, you have to push the button to choose car or motorcycle. Once you choose the right size battery it will start to charge.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys. I didn't realize there was even a button!
