I visited a car show recently and found this: My question is: What is this? It has 996 lights and bumpers, but seems to have a 993 windshield and roof line. Is there a 993 to 996 Conversion Kit?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes, there is a 993 to 996 conversion kit.. there is also a 964 conversion kit, but to be honest, both are pretty bad looking. Where's that puking emoticon when you need one?
Why ruin a 993 like that, if you want a 996 buy one, I for one think that is terrible thing to do.Thats worse then trying to make a 996 like a 997 , at least the roofline is the same.
I have seen poser re-badged cars but this "GT2" makes me want to cry for the very principle of ruining a beautiful P-Car. I agree, where is the barf emoticon?
one word: unique!! but this can be good or bad.....
In this case, it is "uniquely" bad. I can't believe the ways people find to waste money.
No. This absolutely can not be good. God, it looks like the ugly bastard-child of a 993 and 996.
*sigh* nice idea buut, the big fat nose of the 996 doesn't look with the light, delicate classic 1964 vintage 911 roofline.
gross.
not only does the owner have more money than taste, he also showed up at the wrong car show.. notice the other classics in the background.. wrong car show, wrong car, just plain wrong...
