Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know what this piece is? Came in the glove box when I got the car, can't seem to find its home.

POST 3Original post

Is it the piece that goes on the side of the radio?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not from the center console from what I can tell or the console piece that holds the hvac.

POST 5Original post

I love a good mystery part! Call me crazy...I just went through the entire catalog of interior parts and I saw nothing that looked like that. If it is not obvious where that goes and nothing is missing from the dash/console/seats etc....throw it back in the glove box and maybe over time you'll figure out where it goes. Sorry, no help whatsoever, but I tried....

POST 6Original post

Is this either a factory or aftermarket interior sample swatch? Seems like leather and interior carpet samples in case you need to find something similiar or a replacement.

POST 7Original post

That's the IMSB preventer strip, I'm pretty sure.

Do you have the console delete? looks like the piece that sits in front of the shifter once delete is installed.

That's what I initially thought, but it's the wrong shape for the batwing (the trim piece for the console just above the hump).

POST 11Original post

Yeah yeah...but you said it was in the glove box! LOL Barn996! I was going to make a wisecrack..something along the line of that is the IMSB/RMS/AOS delete plate or the CEL cover plate....

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The console delete piece seems to have tabs to click into the console, this thing is flat and covered in velcro from underside.
