Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys and gals, This is my first post! Bought this beauty back in March. She needed some work (Cough-oil-separator-cough) but has been a blast as a daily driver. Still gotta get the clear side markers and the interior center console has scratches. I love the forums, been lurking for a while. Thanks for looking!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm almost positive that they are stock 996 17's.

POST 4Original post

I see road rash on front bumper and a kerbed drivers wheel but HEY its being driven. Right? HOW it drives is more important than HOW it looks. BTW it looks just right to me. Welcome to the board.

POST 5Original post

Looks great to me. Nothing worse than when Someone messes with an old car and tries to make it look like somthing its not. Like 991 lettering for excample.

POST 6Original post

My lettering was up there when the 991 was still on the drawing board. Porsche coppied mine haha. I am proud to own a Porsche 911 Carrera and I let the world know it. I was sick of hearing. "Now thats a nice car, what make is it?" I copied nothing. I still have my pumpkins rightfully in place PLUS the original engine with no alterations. You live in London where the 911 are more common. I am in the States. Mine is a TRUE 996 and I bet yours aint.

POST 7Original post

Very nice, is that a 240 Volvo I see hiding in front?

POST 8Original post

Real nice car. I like the white cars since they are much cooler with the heavy sun the closer to the equator you get. Nice place to keep it too

POST 9Original post

A beauty, enjoy! Btw - The amber sidemarkers don't look bad on a white car.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys! Yah the hilly roads up here lead to people driving on both sides. Have to evade some giant lawn care trucks on the regular. I'm still going to get the white side markers, and there are quite a few other paint dings. I drive it like I stole it. I'm 26, why not?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, it's my buddy's old Volvo. That thing has many hilarious stories. Drives a 92 7-series now.

POST 13Original post

Nice looking C2!! I think these cars look amazing in white.
