I gave up on motorcycle roadracing recently after many years of fun and success, and my Porsche friends have convinced me to do some track days with my '99 996. I recently installed PSS10s, H&R sway bars and RSS adjustable toe links, and had it aligned for the track. The tires I put on are a set of new Toyo RA1s I got a great deal on from my neighbor, a 944 racer. The problem (I think) is the sizing. I have 245/40/18 fronts (the same as many of the GT3 drivers out there) and 275/35/18 rears. Wheels are BBS 18x8.5 and 18x10 with stock backspacing and 10mm spacers on the fronts. Both tires are 25.6 diameter per Toyo. I understand that there could problems with this combination as it relates the the function of the ABS, but with the diameters the same, should I be OK? Would appreciate any thoughts, suggestions...thanks everyone.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You won't notice any discernable difference in its ability to function properly. You're close enough to stock sizing with those tires.
thanks very much
I don't recall where I read it but it is my understanding that ABS interaction is potentially an issue once the diameters differ by more than about 3%, with your sizings that shouldn't be an issue.
