Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been lurking a bit and since I just picked up my first Porsche this past Thursday I thought I'd post a photo or two and introduce myself. My name is Tony and I live in Half Moon Bay, California. I'm a long time motorcyclist and tinkerer of cars/bikes. I just purchased a 1999 Cab in Artic Silver and have already generated a decent enough shopping list for it that the wife is questioning my sanity. Anyways, onto the pics. Sorry about the crap quality.

POST 2Original post

Hello and welcome. The new cab looks great! Let the mods begin!

POST 3Original post

Nice cab. I've had mine for 4 years now and I love it. My wife has given up asking about the stuff that I buy for it. Have fun with your new toy. Cheers.

POST 5Original post

Very nice cab. You should enjoy it Welcome to Rennlist When I was a teenager living in the Mission in San Francisco (early 60s), we would hitch hike to Half Moon Bay to the drag races We always had an incredible time

POST 6Original post

Nice looking cab Tony. Welcome to the water cooled club.

POST 7Original post

Welcome aboard. Great looking cab. How many miles?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@Porsche87 46,500 or so when I picked up, then I put another 500 miles or so on it this weekend on NorCal PCH driving along with a trip to Wine country.

POST 9Original post

Very low miles. The drive up the PCH and thru wine country must have been a great way to break in the new wheels.

POST 10Original post

Welcome and enjoy, you really get to enjoy and sound of the engine with the top down!

POST 11Original post

Welcome Tony! Good looking ride. Something about a Cab makes you feel even more connected to the car.

POST 12Original post

Welcome to your new obsession. That looks like a very well cared for car. I think the cabs are underrated by the purists. Any car where you can jack up the rear end and the front end comes off the ground is stiff enough. Mine already goes around corners faster than I can turn the wheel.
