Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just flashing left over from the mold. No rubber is intended in that area.
Ok thanks! That means that I removed a transmission mount that might have been totally fine....I am such an idiot Was a pain in the butt to do it as well.

Just call it preventative maintenance!

Not necessarily. Even if the old mount looks right, it can be pretty shot. The rubber breaks down over time and allows a lot more flex, even though it might not have any visible cracks in it. So your time was not wasted! Frankly any rubber component on these cars that's original could stand to be replaced and it would not be wasted time or money.
DKRAIGE hit the nail on the head. ANYTHING rubber on our cars that is original can stand to be replaced. Also, I thought the same thing when I saw an engine mount like that. I thought it was bad. Didn't realize it was part of the manufacturing process.
