So I'm trying to replace my front passenger side drop link, am I right in saying that the bolt that goes through the hub is not threaded? I've taken the nut off the end and as it's going in the bin I decided to tap it out with the hammer! Will it budge, no! Sprayed some penetrating oil on and left it!! I've broken the drop link off the other side so thinking next job get a long 17mm socket over the balljoint to the nut behind on a breaker bar and jiggle it a bit, then another tap?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
