Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, Just got my first 996. 2002 manual coupe. I'm looking for some recommendations for a garage that I can trust and won't break the bank. Anyone have a garage they trust? I'm in Koreatown, but willing to travel for the right person to work on the car. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Which one did you buy? I just bought one in LA too. I looked at all of them first so Im curious which one you picked. Only mechanics Ive found out about are here in the SF Valley.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I actually went to Montana to get mine. Was looking for one in Blue and this one came up in my wide craigslist search. Just felt right. Did you look at the Zanzibar Red 2001 coupe for sale in Torrence 6 months ago? I loved the look of that car. But happy with what have. What did you get?

POST 4Original post

go to Peter at Stuttcar porsche in pasadena. Honest guy, did my PPI in 2012 and i've been going to him ever since. Very reasonably priced. https://www.yelp.com/biz/stuttcar-service-pasadena

Try TLG in North Hollywood. A Porsche only indie that's been in business for 35 plus years. I take my 996 and my 77 to them. Highly recommended .

POST 6Original post

NARW in Reseda is a trusted shop. I take my 99 to them.

Try Euro Spec Motoring at 5414 Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019. They're much closer to you than the others. Very knowledgeable and very fair pricing. Enjoy your Pcar!
