I am considering installing a B&M SSK, but not sure which version to buy. Any suggestion on which one would be best; in car vs. under car? Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Get the In Car! Also, do a search in this forum on B&M and you will find a BUNCH of threads about the Short SHifter. There was one trread about 2 - 3 weeks ago that debated the pros and cons of the "in car" versus the "under car" SSK.
DEPENDS if you like the notchy feel or not. In car is notchy whereas the under car is smooth similar to the stock one just shorter. I went with the under car one because I didn't like notchy. However, it's personal preference as many prefer the notchy feel.
i just installed my in car....i like notchy and i like this shifter...great feel. It seems to me that the 'notchiness" matches the stiff road feed back
IN CAR here, happy with it.
