Continuing from my other thread... Some of you may remember my similarly titled thread from last year showing my 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage in titanium silver. At the time, I swore to myself I would never get rid of that car. Turns out I lied. My dealer was able to get me on the list for the 2008 V8 Vantage N400 and I picked her up on Saturday. The N400 was created to celebrate Aston's accomplishments at the Nrburgring 24 Rennen 24-hour race with a V8 Vantage N24 production race car. It's a performance Vantage with 20 more hp, a stiffer suspension, and various other upgrades. The car is finished in Karussell Orange which is exclusive to this model. It uses a red-tinted lacquer and is really quite different than other oranges I've seen. I had a hard time pulling the trigger on this color but, in the end, I am very happy I did. Entire production was limited to 240 cars and mine is #162 of 240. I have been informed by my dealer that only 10 made it to the U.S. in this color. Enjoy the pics!

Beautiful car, be sure to make time to enjoy it. Pardon my ignorance but is there a huge difference performance wise over your previous Vantage?
Stunning!
Hey I like that...The Vantage is one of the few cars I'd consider instead of a good Porsche.

On paper, it's pretty subtle... 20 more hp with a revised ECU and a valved air intake system, 45% stiffer uprated springs, Bilstein aluminum dampers, and forged lightweight wheels. But I have to say, it's a completely different car on the road. The new suspension is both stiffer (and a hell of a lot more fun) and much smoother. And the increased hp and revised ECU really add some juice at higher rpms. It also has a more throaty sound when the exhaust opens up (to my ears at least). All in all, I was quite surprised at the overall difference in the car.

Wow a little more than I expected. My father has one with the "exhaust fuse" mod and it sounds incredible, I can only imagine how yours sounds Again Congrats and enjoy in good health!!!
I read that the European-spec N400 has a lot of equipment removed (A/C etc). Is the same true for your US car?
Wow - that's BEAUTIFUL.
I want one too! Nice ride!
congrats... great looking car

The U.S. N400 actually comes with everything the standard Vantage comes with plus many of the upgraded options as standard equipment (nav, premium sound, HID headlamps, etc). I assume the Euro version is the same but could be wrong. Haven't paid attention to the Euro specs.
love the Vantage - cool color too, congrats!

It's a gorgeous car - I love it!
wow, that beautiful. I do not think I would ever drive it. (too scared to mess it up )
I LOVE the "Ring" embossing. I know money isn't everything but it sure is something. OCNY, why doesn't your avitar have anything Porsche related on it?
Beauty!! Love the color.
sweet!
Great color, looks like it alternates red/orange. Dig the armrest. I'm not sure, but I might be jealous.
<--- license plate idea?
I had a chance to drive a normal AM Vantage a couple of weeks ago. I think it is one of the most beautiful cars ever produced, and the sound the engine makes is nothing short of amazing. I liked it, and I really like this one that you have here. I don't think I would give up my Porsche for one because I like the way the Porsche feels and drives, but that is just personal preference. Enjoy this one. It is beautiful!
Wow, I think I died but YOU went to heaven.... LOL sweet ride.
That's HOT
It makes me want to become an internet marketer.

Thanks for my new desktop background. Does anybody have a tissue handy?
"45% stiffer uprated springs, Bilstein aluminum dampers, and forged lightweight wheels." that sounds like a pretty big upgrade as opposed to the standard version... did they alter the gear ratios as well? SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!
