Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm enthralled by the PCCB 'yellow look' on the 997's, and wanted to know whether it would work on a 996 C4S. Anybody paint their calipers yellow?

POST 2Original post

I too am having the same inclination. The yellow might be sharp with the black body.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. What is Corey's screen name?

POST 5Original post

the red looks better with the 996 C4s as it ties into the tail lights and reflector band imo.

POST 6Original post

Totally agree as well. Besides, the yellow calipers color is one that should be left with the PCCB's. IMHO, calipers such as those on a car like a Porsche should be red unless they are a major shift in braking system to highlight that like the PCCB.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't disagree it might be somewhat 'poseurish,' but just trying to see what they look like. Any pics would be appreciated.

POST 8Original post

I don't think it's poserish at all. After all, you have brembos dude. The PCCB distinction has to do with the ceramic rotors doesn't it? Anyway paint them whatever color you like. If yellow looks good do that, just put the porsche sticker back on. It would be poserish to put a stoptech or other sticker on there. Plus, red is so common now, yellow might be pretty cool. You can always paint them black again.

POST 10Original post

yeah that looks real nice, I guess I'll be the next poser...

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Werd. That's exactly where I was coming from.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

HOT! Now if I could only see them with the stock rims... - ;-) Seriously, looks very nice!

POST 13Original post

OT but Rasta - did you look at the pic's i posted of my new centre console pieces i had Eric paint in Basalt. it really looks good.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just checked it out - looks really nice. Congrats!

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fortunately, us C4S owners already have ours in red.
