Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can you guys let me know which are the companies that I should be shopping for an extended warranty on this 99 996 I am looking at? Thanks Ryan

POST 3Original post

I have a GE extended warranty. Key is to get a warranty from a company that will still be in business at the end of the term!

POST 4Original post

www.warrantydirect.com I can recommend them. I have it and have made claims and they have done me right. Andy

POST 5Original post

warrantydirect seems to be one of the best ones available.. the bad part is that they wont sell warranties to cars more than 4 years old..

POST 6Original post

Porsche doesn't offer a CPO on cars older than 7 years. The car also has to be from a porsche dealer or an existing CPO transfer. Can't speak to other warranty companies. Keep us updated, it would be interesting to see what you can find for a 99.

POST 7Original post

Does anyone have any experience with the First Extended Service Corporation out of Texas? It's offered by the porsche dealer in Fremont CA.

POST 8Original post

Warranty direct. have both my cars under them. Never had any issues.
