Greetings everyone. I was wondering if the interior trim pieces from a boxster can be interchanged with a 996 cab? The radio/climate control bezel and dash pieces for example? Thanks in advance.

Hi Eddie, welcome to Rennlist! The "horseshoe" part is not the same due to the shape of the AC vent, most other parts are interchangeable

No, I believe the '99 - '01 models have a two piece horseshoe and the '02 - '04 models have a one piece horseshoe. Here is a pic of the horseshoe in my '04 C2.

Does anyone know if the climate control unit works on all years 996? I passed one up on ebay because it was from an 03' and was unsure about compatibility. My car is a 00'.

MY99-01 were the same. NY02 was different and MY03 and newer are different yet. I do not know the exact differences - but I do know Porsche would not stock 3 parts if one would do.

Loren, I didn't know that the '02 was different from the '03 - '04.
