My brothers, I had to write this short story after experiencing the worse rain storm I ever got caught in, And caught with My Targa to make things even worse, but It wasn't worse, the Targa mounted with Conti 2 were UNREAL. I was driving to a client site on 287North (New Jersey to New York) with an associate of mine, the clouds looked threaten , but they have been looking that way all day, when we were leaving he asked If I wanted to take his S430 (MB) - I said nope - If you don't mind a small car, let's take the Targa, he agreed happily. During the trip there, we discussed cars and life (what else is new) - we were cruising around 90+mph - when suddenly the F-ing sky fell and down came the heaviest rain for the longest time I ever experienced, the rain was so hard and steady I couldn't see my front lights - (NO SH^T) I stayed in the left lane and dropped it into 4th and chilled. Many cars were pulling over and driving with their blinking lights, but not me, I stayed the course. The Targa held up like a Champ, my associate was in disbelief - "This car is too much" I wanted to just smile, but inside I dared not look away from what little view I had - The rain lasted 45 minutes which seemed forever when you can't see a dam thing. The water level was high in some parts of the highway, but the Targa never slipped or lost the slightest bit of control, truly amazing. Anyway I felt so dam proud of the car, I had to share this with you...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Nice. I nearly put a similar post out yesterday. I live in N. NJ and picked up my first ever Porsche (an '03 C4S) on Saturday. Driving home yesterday it was raining hard and the roads were very wet and yet the car felt totally planted. In my old car (MR2 Spyder) it was easy to get the tail wagging on days like this just by applying gas and I used to do it just for fun. I tried this in the new car yesterday and instead of a nice tail slide the car took off like it had been fired from a gun Barry
