In the stock wiring harness for the stereo, what is the wire for the illumination? I was told grey/pink but it is not working right with my new stereo....Anyone got any ideas?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Not sure about the ilumination wire. But the Grey/Pink wire is the speed A signal wire.
lol...makes sense why my screen flickered when I slowed down...Thanks.
you can hook the illumination to the accessory with the others. The radio light can be on all the time the radio has power.
The grey pink is for the speed sensor. It is an electrical signal, not a constant voltage. Yes, it may look like 12V when the car is off. But start it and drive and the voltage drops and fluctuates.
