Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can those with litronics take pictures of the peam pattern on a wall or garage door about 20-30 feet away. I would like pictures of the Low and High beams on: 996-986 99-01 - USA Cars 99-01 - Euro Cars 02-04 - USA Cars 02-04 - Euro Cars 955 (Cayenne) 993's If you can. Thanks. Example: S2000

POST 2Original post

Both my BMW's are lower on the left so as to not blind oncoming traffic as much.

POST 3Original post

Well that's how it looks with low beam. On high beam there is no break between dark and light. It just lights up everything... When you switch on high beam two things happen. The Litronics lights get brighter because a flap inside the unit goes up and a halegaon light switches on. With the exception of some SUV's they are the brightest high beams i've used.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry to sound like an a$$ but I am a know it all when it comes to H.I.D's I would just like to see what the beam patterns are like from the different models. Thanks.

POST 5Original post

Are you thinking there might be more of an upslope on the passenger side of both the left and right lights in Europe (versus the US)? I was thinking the same thing this weekend. If so, that will be my next mod.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

DING DING DING we have a winner. But I think that Porsche cheats and has the E-code lens in every Litronic light and there is a selector switch in the headlight to switch between E-Code (Flat and Brighter) and U.S. (Flare up at the end). Thanks. Now where are the pictures.
