IGNICAO I would love to see pictures of your car with the blue int -- I looked did you post any. I do not like the light gray with the Lapis as much as the darker colors -- I was thinking black to be safe -- would love to see the blue !!!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

i don't have any good pictures because of the subtlety of the color. i suggest you go to the dealer and ask to see metropol blue in the flesh. it looks great with lapis. i find black and silver to be so common that they bore me. i love yellow and guards red but then my chicken side appears.
b/c I remember one from the c32 forums & I don't think there are too many car enthusiasts w/ your sign. name.
i was quite active in the c32 life board until my engine threw a rod at 9800 miles--what a great excuse to get the c4s that i should have gotten to begin with! the c32 was fun but i missed the control of a stick and was frustrated by the intrusive nature of mercedes esp. psm is a whole different animal. only turms on when its truly needed--usually once per 2000 miles. the blown engine was the last straw. i've no regrets!
I recall your engine experience with your c32. I still have mine & cannot agree more with your comment on the intrusive nature of the ESP. It bothered me so much that I did not get it (PSM) on my new 2002 996 Targa. I know, people will argue how great PSM really is, & I'm sure there is a lot to be said about Porsche's system.... However I REALLY like the raw feel on non-limited/controlled power & I eventually want to get LSD anyway.. Nice to hear from people in the past. BTW I hope the occasional 996 engine/transmission problems are not too widespread. I've had my 2nd gear "slip out" a half a dozen times in 1300 kms already. For the moment I'm just blaming driver error in not "pushing" the shifter forcefully enough to engage the gear.... Ciao!
