Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know if a 996tt instrument cluster (996-641-985-02-70C) will work in a 2000 996 C4? I've got one as a spare but don't need to keep it if it won't work. Thanks.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The dealer said that since the TT instruments has a boost function display, it might cause a frying of the system if it is plugged into the 996, due to different wiring. Still waiting to see if anyone here has any ideas.
