The lights behind the instrument cluster aren't working. It was intermittent at first and wiggling the headlight switch would sometimes make them come on. It seems similar to the problems people have with the headlight switch causing the headlights not to work but I couldn't find any posts about the instrument lights. I figured I'd ask before spending $80 on the switch. Incidentally, the headlights work fine. Grant

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

nope. Just the instrument lights. Everything else seems fine.
it seem to point at the light switch... this is a common prob as well. You know that there's a dimmer ****, have you played with that?
So it sounds like the switch...I've seen the instructions for removal at Renntech but that **** is a pain to remove without damaging it. Any tips?
