Took my teenage sons to their first road race since we moved to NC. The rain managed to stay away all day long and the temperatues were very pleasant. The action was loud and fast (did I mention loud?)! We had to buy ear plugs because the RX-8 Wankels make an ear splitting whine that really does make you head hurt! Saw several off course "excursions" from our vantage point.
Even my 16 year old agreed that it was a great time! Pictures were taken by my kids on an older digital camera. They're not too bad, though.

I would love to hook up with some other Rennlisters for the next race. I have to warn you that I don't drive the Porsche...I drive my Crown Victoria! I'm loaded with chairs, cooler, food, and two healthy teenage boys. The Porsche just can't fit it all in.
