I saw these on craigslist. The owner got them from a friend and has no idea what models they fit or the brand. He says there is no writing on them? Any ideas? Do these look like 996 mufflers to you guys?

How can you tell? Just curious.

You could see the 997 stamp right on it. See it? j/k You can tell by the longer "S" piece on those mufflers. The 996 mufflers have shorter, different shaped ones.

The 997 inlet/outlet pipes are almost the same length because it is a wider body and the exhaust tips are closer to the middle of the bumper. The 996 inlet is a lot longer than the outlet pipes (exhuast tips are mounted on the outlet pipes). the outlet pipes are shorter cause it is narrow body and the tips are closer to the edge of the bumper. Hope that makes sense.
