Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just posted these on another thread. I thought everybody might enjoy seeing some of the current salvage cars available. Here is the link to the free part of the insurance auction site. It's fun to dream. https://www.iaai-bid.com/hotpicksintro.aspx

POST 2Original post

Ignoring the details, all I can say is SWEET! Thanks for the pics!

POST 3Original post

Mark - you dont even have the aero kit on yet! Any plans for your next rebuild?

POST 4Original post

I think I know that Maserati, it looks exactly like a salvage car I saw in progress at a local shop in LA.

POST 5Original post

I took a look at the site. Some neat cars. I wonder what they are meaning by the ACV. Is this pre-wreck. Otherwise, they are smoking something.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

SC, you're welcome. Don, no plans until I get rid of the BMW. I'll steer clear of flood and I could live without doing another burn victim. Body damage might be fun. Here is one that I would bid on if the BMW was gone.... https://www.iaai-bid.com/vehicledeta...itemid=6395301

POST 8Original post

Wonder how much this one would go for, what ya guys think?

Should buff right out.

POST 10Original post

mark, What do you think that supercharged 996 would go for? Just curious... thanks

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Mark, I would guess around $20,000. The last Porsche I bid on was a 04 GT3 that went for $46,500. It had been rebuilt, but had a clear title and was still under warranty.

Thats not a bad price!

POST 13Original post

Hmmm. Had the same question about ACV... "(ACV). Actual cash value is the amount your vehicle would have sold for on the date of the accident."

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If the BMW is gone when this becomes available, it will be mine.
