Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been lurking around the boards for a little bit, and decided to register My dad purchased a pre-owned 2004 Seal Grey C2 2-3 weeks ago. Had to find some forums to teach myself about Porsche's. Car is basically stock, although it does have the 18" Turbo-look wheels that the PO had on it before. I bought the bumper plugs and smoked side-markers for him as a present for his new car. And, as required, the pic! ~Apex

POST 2Original post

Congradulations and good luck! Seal Grey gives it a very classy look.

POST 3Original post

You and your dad have excellent taste in cars and car colors!

POST 5Original post

Cool...........what was the milage and price if you don't mind me asking...If you do mind no problem, I a understand.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks everyone! Mileage was ~8300, the PO traded it in for a 997. Price was $60k. I still can't believe there's a 911 sitting in the garage ~Apex

POST 7Original post

Very Cool Color! "I still can't believe there's a 911 sitting in the garage" I feel the same way! Congrats!

POST 8Original post

Apex, just curious, will you be getting any stick time, or is Pop hogging it?

POST 9Original post

Congrats! Hope you don't have many bros and sisters living in the house!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dad let's me drive it when I come home from school sometimes. Im currently a college sophomore, so Im more than happy to even get any time driving it. My dad totally trusts me driving it. And, Im the one who's getting him into Auto-X and hopefully I can get him to hit up some track days with it next year! And, I only have 1 younger brother, and I get precidence, so it's all good My brother actually drives my dad's old car, a 1990 BMW 535i with a 5 speed. No automatic's in this family ~Apex Edit: Figured I'd throw up a pic of my car from the last Auto-X I attended.

POST 15Original post

I let my 2 college Sons drive my car when they're home. I'm such a good Dad too.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Penguinking, I usually hang out on Nasioc. Carbonissimo, you are such a good dad All dad's should let their son's drive their car's once in awhile. ~Apex

POST 18Original post

Great looking car and congratulations!!!... It is great to see how our Porsches bring families together. Having a little backseat for my preescholer son was one of the main reasons why I acquired a 911. Sharing the P-car experience with a loved one is that much greater. Cheers.
