Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK, I searched all around and can't find the answer. How much does the removable hardtop for a '99 cab weigh? =Carlos= (If I had someone to help me, I'd just got get mine and stand on a scale, but that's not an option)

POST 2Original post

Saw this on a 2004 porsche review: Like all Porsche 911 Cabriolet models, the Turbo S also comes as standard with a removable aluminium hardtop - weighing only 33kg - for year-round convenience.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks much. I was also able to confirm that the '99 model hardtop weighs 73 lbs, according to a Porsche news release, which is the same (33 kg). =Carlos=

POST 4Original post

Standy Carlos...I will get you a weight here in a sec.........

POST 5Original post

Well...the Porsche news release is EXACTLY correct. Just got back from the garage with my trusty scale and it read.......73#

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dell - thanks for checking that out. Now we really know for sure! =Carlos=
