Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

this post. "I think the reason why the X74 may be more compliant is because, according to Gert, the springs are progressive, rather than linear like all of the other porsche suspension options. It does indeed sound like X74 is the way to go. Thanks all! Geoff." If X74 is progressive, than I will go with RoW M030 springs which are linear and only pick up rear Bilstein Sports to match to them as the '02 996 standard front struts are stiff enough in rebound to control the stiffer springs. If X74 is linear, than I may order from Gert sans anti sway bars. Thanks for any input.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Progressive it is via Loren's site. Interesting that the street version of the GT3 is progressive as well; not the Cup car. Also found out that the aftermarket Bilstein Sports are the same specs as X74. The RoW rear bump stops are all the progression in spring rate I want. The Euro 030s should be nice with the aftermarket Bilstein Sports. Anyone know the rates for the X74 springs? I'd like to compare them to the rates of the H & Rs. TIA.

POST 3Original post

Re-animator - FYI, I have ROW M030 springs and shocks for sale on Ebay. They were on my car for 8,000 miles.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, man. I already sourced the rear springs and the other stuff is enroute from Germany. I appreciate the heads up. On a side note, there is only 1 GT3 rear swaybar left in all of the U.S. Porsche parts stock now.
