Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's official. The 996 is for sale. It is the right thing to do at this point in time. Simple as that. I want my company to be a success and I must put forth 100% of my attention to it. I love my car, but I would rather sacrifice her now for a GT3 later when my company succeeds. Thank you all for your kind support and messages over the past few weeks. Please, DO NOT feel bad for me. I know I am doing the right thing. It is the right thing for my future, my family's future and I do believe it will pay off down the twisty road ahead. To anyone who is interested here is the listing: 996 for sale Feel free to email me if you are seriously interested - [email removed] cheers, Chad

Love for special cars never dies. Chad, it's just a car. You'll get another even better one when the time is right. Best of luck with the new company. All of us on the board will be pulling for you!

POST 4Original post

Chad, as you already know, I speak from experience on this one. I hate to see you do this, but you have to do what you think is best. If your car were in my current price zone, it would already have a "Sold" sign on it! Good luck with the business.

POST 5Original post

Good luck Chad! Sorry to see you sell so soon after acquiring. But as Tim said...there are plenty of fish in the sea. Best of luck in growing your business...I'm sure you will reap the benefits. J

POST 6Original post

Best of luck. Remember that you can still have fun in a cheaper car that will help to tide you over until you re-enter pcar world. Old miatas and s2000s and the like are pretty darn fun and very affordable.

Well put, Chad. The Chinese have a saying that goes in good times or bad, "This too shall pass." Get through this set of curves, and I hope a long straightaway is waiting for you. -Dave

POST 8Original post

GL to you Chad! Take lots of pics of her, she's very special... I know youve struggled on selling, but at least your head is on straight and got your priorities correct.

POST 9Original post

Chad, Best of luck to a good guy and a true enthusiast. I wish you well and back into the fold ASAP when it's GT3 time... Tonger

POST 10Original post

Obviously, you don't lack car talent regarding the numerous mods you've performed on your current car. Sounds like your business growth is, and should be your priority Chad, based on your previous threads. When the time is right, you'll be doing something cool to your next car, and hopefully it will be funded by a healthy business decision that you are making now. (God that sounds too responsible).

POST 11Original post

Chad, Nice car. I see you are in Atlanta. If the sale falls thru, you might talk to these guys about consigning it. http://www.gearsmotorsports.com/company.htm They move alot of Porsches as well as other exotics. No affiliation blah blah. Good Luck!
