Is that a good deal? yea? for who?? I can put my top up and down now with my key chain fob remote. Oh, yea.... that's cool. and my doors automatically lock when the car starts going and automatically unlock when the key is pulled from the ignition. Ohh yeaa.....super cool... buzz

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

uhhhh, cool....I think?
Doesn't Goodbuzz' post sound more like an advertisement than the earnest ramblings of a Porsche purist? I keep waiting for him to tell me that his RemoteTop also massages his back while he drives, too.
If it sounds like an ad, its probably (can't say for sure) simply because those guys put out such great products. I would write them an ad any day, and I receive nothing in return for relaying my pleasure. The Smart Top was nice, allowing top operation while moving, and single touch operation anytime .... as opposed to holding the switch until top completely up or down. The Remote Top is even cooler. Get out in the restaurant parking lot, push the lock button and hold it just a second longer. Doors lock; top goes up and latches, windows go up. Coming back to the car after dining, just the reverse. Push the button to unlock, and hold a second longer. Doors unlock, windows go down, top goes down fully by the time I reach for the door handle. If you're like me, and believe a Cab top should be down whenever possible, then these devices make life much nicer. Install quickly, no cut wires, just plug a computer module in line. This may all be old hat for you newer or Euro cab drivers .... but Wilhelmy has made it possible for those of us driving older cars. My hats off to them.
