Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dear Friends...I just bought my first 03 996 C2. When I come back from a drive and park it, it seems that there is a lot of heat coming from the car especially from the spoiler vent. Is that normal? The temp gage is in the middle and shows normal. There is ample coolant in the reservoir. I am not hearing the engine bay fan! Is there a way I can test it to make sure it is working? Maybe it is working when I'm not looking. Maybe this is normal? Thank you for all your help.

POST 3Original post

As Loren said, that is normal. Welcome to Rennlist. COngrats on getting the C2. It is customary for "newbies" to tell us a little about their cars, optioins etc. and to post a few pics of the car. I think you can upload pics once you reach 5 posts. Hey Guys, I was very nice to this one! It must be his lucky day!
