He asked me if I could help him find a decent (read NOT spectacular) 996 cab tiptronic. With his limited budget, I'm going to guess an earlier model with some miles. He didn't mention color. Local to So California would be a bonus. What have you guys got? Any links or pointers? I'll look in the classifieds as soon as I post this. Thanks for any leads.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

AutoTrader would be a good start. Lets you narrow the search to XXX miles from your ZIP and lets you specify Cab and Automatic tranny, plus a few other things.
I am in doing a search for myself for a 6sp Cab. I agree Autotrader.com, there seem to be a few more cars on cars.com .
I was actually hoping a Rennlister who might be on the fence might make his car available. I have a lot of faith in my Rennlist brothers. BTW, lfe, there is a very, very nice 6spd cab in the Rennlist classifieds (I should say it SOUNDS like a nice car).
