Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

want to sell them. they've only got 33,000kms on it..not sure how many miles that is ..but its like nothing. what are they worth?

POST 2Original post

If I'm not mistaken, that's around 20K miles. I would guess that the springs aren't worth much since new ones don't cost much anyway. I think my 030 springs for my Boxster S were about $80 a pair, and the 996 is nearly identical. I think I sold my non-030 S springs for like $10 with 10K miles--better than going into a landfill anyway. The struts are worth more. I think the struts are around $250 each for new Bilsteins. OE are more expensive, but the OE are Bilsteins. I think I sold my non-030 struts for $75/pair again with around 10K miles. Not apples to oranges since yours are the 030, but should give you some idea. Springs maybe $25 per axle and struts maybe $150/pair might be a guess? The problem is that the labor to take the suspension apart is not insignificant, so people will want to put in good stuff if going through the hassle. In addition, you're looking at a realignment which is more cost. Good luck!
