Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Probably hundreds of parts you can use and thousands of parts you can't use. anything specific you are thinking of?
Explain how is this is a help ASAP? All the cosmetic stuff would transfer if he has upgraded inrterior bits. The rest of the car (mechanically) is not really tranferable on the NB cars.
Geez, why don't you take his boots too.... What Dell said.
LVDell - Chill out guy. I was offering to help him figure out if some specific part or group of parts would be compatible. By the was, exterior cosmetics probably won't fit (WB vs. NS) and there are quite a few mechanicals that would fit. I was just trying to help the guy rather than giving him blanket qualifications on on cosmetics vs. mechanicals.
The car is still warm!
Dharn, I don't think Dell was questioning you, he was questioning the original poster. And btw, yes you can convert the parts from an OEM turbo WB onto a narrowbody. Been done before, just not often, because there are alot of parts involved. However, if he is willing to give you his entire "rear" then go for it... Also, be sure to get the C4S muffler extensions, because your 99c2 exhasut will not line up with OEM turbo bumper...
Maybe I misinterpreted who LVDell was speaking to. I know I see him on here alot and he is usually trying to help someone. LVDell, if this is the case I guess I should chill out.
This does seem kind of callus. I assume your friend is OK, and his parts aren't being donnered out too.
No biggie guys, I don't take those comebacks personally. I was talking to the original poster anyway. I really don't understand how you could misinterpret my post anyway. I asked why in the world his panties were in a wad that made him scream that he needed help ASAP. Then I stated the obvious that the interior cosmetic bits are transferable. As for mechanical, yes those parts can move but at considerable cost. I realize college football is done (except for the bowls) so Saturday seems to be a bit more uptight around here. Time for a drink
But I already stripped the carcass dry and got all of the good stuff.
OK this got me laughing although the humor is a little sick! Agree with Dell...this is not a "need help asap". We here at the rennlist take this call seriously and will do whatever we can to help (especially Dell...the quickest poster on the web). But this does not qualify.
Thanks wross I aim to please but somebody yelled "fire" in a crowed building only to say "just kidding". Those fake 9-1-1's (pun intended) are not appreciated here
I would have to agree that the title of this post was way off base.
While your new to the forum (don't worry we don't hold grudges), perhaps you could introduce yourself with some obligatory pics. By the looks of the avatar you have a sweet ride. Sorry your first post was welcomed so poorly...but I know you will come through. BTW welcome to the crazy house.
No need to apologize. We're just bustin' your chops! By the way, what's the story with the car accident? Was everyone okay?
A black on black 996 is one of the best looking cars ever.
Welcome...
