Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

33 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found a cheap Carrera GT on the bay, whos trading up? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/carre...QQcmdZViewItem

POST 2Original post

Ha! That's pretty wild! The overall dimensions look totally off though.

I was feeling a little barf in the back of my throat.

POST 6Original post

awful...and so obvious. To think that someone paid nearly 100k for that POS. Holy moly. J

POST 7Original post

I just threw up a little (well actually a lot!!) in my mouth!! Why??? And saying the envy of every F and L driver?? Right how about the laughing stock?!?!?

POST 8Original post

It does have 1 feature that I do like. The rear hood to access the motor. Boxsters are a pain in the butt to get to and work on the top of the motor. Other than that, it is surely a laughable POS!!! I think that thing has been for sale for a long time and probably will stay that way.

POST 9Original post

Does that mean there is more than 1 of these? Oh, the humanity....

Yeah, I saw a silver one in Cal Speedway Fontana during the Festival of Speed Event (PCA). This dude actually had the guts to bring his slaughtered Coxster GT in an actual PCA event. ...sigh...tasteless people...

POST 11Original post

What's funny is that he actually thinks he'll get 60k for it. Or a cayenne plus cash! There is one for sale near me in the city of Fallbrook. Waste of money.

POST 12Original post

anyone notice there's another black one in his garage?

POST 15Original post

It's not even an "S". Why in the world would you put that much cash into a base model car when you could go buy a "real" TT for the same price? All show, no go...

POST 16Original post

All look no cook...

POST 19Original post

Frightening. Anyone who would pay the "$60,000 Buy it Now" price is totally nuts. I wouldn't have that monstrosity in my garage for anything. Oh, the humanity!!!!

POST 21Original post

Gee, now you too can impress the Ferrari/Lambo crowd.... Shame a perfectly good Boxster was chopped up for that prime poseur ride.

POST 22Original post

I offered him $12.95. I think he was offended.

POST 24Original post

Wow - the transformation is amazing: It started out as just a Boxster, but now it looks exactly like a crappy kit car! -

POST 25Original post

...also when I first looked at the outline my first thought was "Is that ... a camaro under there?" -

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 5417176

Yeh, Maybe he should try and sell them both for $60K as an "Ebony and Ivory" package!! Demosan

POST 28Original post

looks like the guy has a real GT in his garage in the last pic.

POST 29Original post

Quotes source post: 5418166

LOL, that is classic, I'm gonna offer $9.95. edit: damn declined...

POST 30Original post

Quotes source post: 5422240

Probably for the best. You would have been overpaying by about 9 bucks at that price anyways. I can't decide what's actually worse. Doing this with a Boxster or the typical kit car fodder, the Fiero . On one hand, at least you're keeping the brand the same, and it'll perform better than the Fiero. On the other hand, you've now ruined a perfectly good Boxster.

Oh ****, Phil! Why didn't you post this earlier? Do you think it is too late for me to withdraw my $60,000 offer?

POST 33Original post

LOL there is 2 offers on that thing... wasn't anyone here trying to beat the offer of $12.95 was it??
