So, I am taking the advice of some members on here and ordering a silver hood crest. My question is, do they make wheel caps in silver as well? Please let me know if you know where to get this....thanks

Do yourself a favor and call Eric at Bumper Plugs. Being local I wanted a Silver Crest and called Eric. I asked if I could drive over and just pick it up. He showed me a set of Silver Crest center caps, OH MY GOD! Those things are awesome! I think there is a pic but on his site, but that in no way does them justice. Great guy, great quality! That will be a purchase for me, just waiting on the 18's upgrade to put them on!

Eric had only a couple sets in inventory back in March. A set is about $450, which was a bit too much for me to justify on my stock wheels. I've got the silver hood crest which makes such a nice difference, like the clear corners, especially on a silver car. Boothe Design may also have a couple sets.

If anyone in the Bay Area wants a silver crest air bag, I'd be willing to do a swap: 3-spoke, black, not leather--no stitching, like-new condition, recently passed SRS tests at local Porsche dealer. Looking for same/similar with standard colored crest. Silver crests IMO look fantastic on silver/black/gray cars, but not so good on some others like reds/yellow, and I prefer colored. Actually, I have a whole other 3-spoke wheel if you need one as well. (I put in alcantara.) PM any interest so as not to completely hi-jack the thread.

What about the default wheel caps with silver crests as part of the plastic? They're cheap, and the colored crests fade and fall off.

I just ordered a set of the silver/black (plastic) wheel center caps from Sunset Imports - $45 for 4.

To me the silver/black crests look better than the colored crests, but that bias is based on the color of my car - black crests look way better than colored on white.
