Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Previous owner of my new car said that at one point he dropped a pen in between the dash and the windshield on the driver's side. He said it only rattled every once in awhile, nothing enough to bother him but I hear it all the time. Is there an easy way of getting at this aside from pulling the entire dash off? i tried removing the front speaker and instrument cluster but couldn't see anything.... Help if you can! Thanks, Paul.

POST 2Original post

bring the car by the saturday meet and i'll take a look. i'm struggling to think of how he could have gotten it stuck IN the dash in such a way that it can't just be pulled up with tweezers or something. are you missing any dash trim pieces?

POST 3Original post

Maybe Mfletch can help you take your dash off.
