Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm on my deck smoking a fat cigar and most of the way through a bottle of really crappy Pinot Noir. I have one of those mushroom shaped gas heaters going. Wife had a bad day at the office and went off to the bath. Kids are killing each other downstairs. I'm contemplating ways to make my car shinier.

POST 2Original post

The wife and I took the dogs to the river and let them swim and retrieve for a couple hours. We are now home the dogs are sleeping and my wife is enjoying a bottle of Zin. I don't drink but I wish I had a nice Fat Macanudo or something to sink my teeth into. I am on the deck too waterfall noise and outdoor heater going, Earl Klugh wafting through the air. My baby is getting the brakes done and a tweek to the suspension; just this side of race.I won't see her until Monday evening. My wife laughed at me when I told her that I had no Porsche until Monday, she patted my head like a little kid. Shinier, you need to get your car shinier? It's ArcSilver we need the sun to shine up here in the PacNW then you can see how shiny it probably already is. Enjoy the gar and the Pinot. It's all good.

POST 3Original post

Synchronizing my track video with data from my DL-1 and enjoying a fine bottle of 2001 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Bois De Boursan, or "freedom wine" as I like to refer to it! Si c'est bon!

Washing the Slate Gray GT3 that is in my drive way (A friend of mine is staying the night to attend the drive tomorrow...I'll have two hot cars in the garage tonight!). POST 9Original post

Got home, ate, watched some TV with the wife, now she and the baby are snoozing, I'm drinking a bottle of anchor steam, surfing the internet and occasionally glancing over at the box of brakes that I'm putting on my '87 911 tomorrow, wondering how the HELL they ever got the brakes to work so damn well considering how small these pads are! I mean, Barbie's Corvette had to have had bigger brake pads than these!

POST 10Original post

Sitting in my office, working on a south Florida Museum project. (not wanting to) while at the same time, staring at my seats that I want to install in my car. Chad

POST 11Original post

Got home from work at 7:30. Took my wife, oldest son and youngest son out for a burger and a Bass. We talked about work tomorrow( my son works for me ) , and Porsches. He tracks his 87 - 911.Thinking about the weekend. I'll that the 912 to the office tomorrow and planning on a night out with the Targa on Sat. We're going over to my friend's house ( he owns the dealership where I bought my 996. Watch the Derby and than take the cars for a 45 min. ride for dinner. Should be fun. Interesting note. This guy has a Porsche, Audi and Mercedes dealership.Yet his passon are street rods.
