Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Since I purchased the car in July had an annoying rattle coming from around the center tunnel shift linkage area. I finally found the cause of the rattle. While installing the brey krause fire extinguishe mount on the passenger seat I found a closed lipstick tube, from the prior owner or a lady friend, in the metal area thats exposed on the floor under the seat. I wish all fixes could be this easy.

Come on JB, we can be honest here. If it was really yours, just tell us the color. Glad you fixed the rattle.

One bit of advice...don't try to guess who's it is and then do them a favor by returning it. Guessing wrong could have SEVERE, negative implications. Same situation with earrings...don't ask me how I know.

This brings back some very bad memories and good ones as well. She's gone now and so is the car. Gues which is the good and bad

POST 7Original post

Well it was not my wife (met her 2 years later) After a few weeks it actually became pretty funny. Thank goodness she had a sense of humor. Now that I think about it it was really stupid to just assume it was hers. Good lesson learned though.

POST 8Original post

I had a similar incident that I thought was actually a serious problem. The result? It was a golf ball which would roll only on certain pavement discreprencies! It was really driving me crazy until I found it and tossed it asap!

POST 9Original post

Hehe...try to convince your girlfriend that the panties that wound up in your laundry (and were not hers) really DID belong to one of the girls who lives in the building and shares the laundry facilities! Re: the lipstick....weight it down and throw it in a lake!
