Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just completed installing Kevin's UMW Stage 2 turbo kit. Actually a fun and rewarding project. No stripped bolts or catastrophes. Started last Sunday, working a few hours after work each night. (OK, a few too late evenings, but it was good bonding time.) Had the flash done right after purchase in June, which was 4,000 miles ago. Now, for the next stage! Unfortunately our local roads have been adulterated with Magnesium Chloride (deicer), so it will be a hard wait for the road test. Thanks Mike and Kevin for your help. The FPR would have been difficult to find were it not for Mikes diy photos and narrative. Will update after I get the remapping done, break in, and boost on!!!

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Meant to post the above on the 996 turbo page, but, the job included spark plug and oil change and more. It is fun working on these cars, especially when the roads are too nasty to drive.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
