Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The stars were in alignment on Saturday with a combination of great weather and a babysitter so my wife and I took the new baby (03 C4S) out for a spin on the twisty back roads of NJ and PA. At one point I decided to just try and follow my nose and see where we ended up (easy to do when you have a GPS) and somehow I managed to find a road that was twisty with a good surface etc. Spurred on by this I started putting the car through its paces and WOW! Can this thing move! I came upon a short uphill section and, as I could not see over it and did not know where the road went I started to slow down. Good thing too because as I crested the top the road went sharply left with a steep adverse camber thrown in for good measure. Since I had been caught out by how fast the car had reeled in the corner I was still in the process of getting off the brakes and switching to the throttle as I rounded the corner (trailing throttle). At that point I started to feel the back of the car twitch I think things would have been fine any way but before I could get on the gas the car did something weird and we were back on track and on our merry way. I can only assume that the PSM had figured out that I was not doing what I should have and fixed the situation for me before I had a chance to take action. Incredible

Good deal sounds like a fun drive. Some really good road up my way for that too... wait until it snows then the fun really starts

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If anyone is interested I have the route all set up for a Garmin GPS V. Just download the route and explore about 4 hours worth of twisty back roads in the NJ/PA area. Couple of nice little bonuses along the way such as diner with a nice view of the car park and a nice waterfall (Raymondskill falls) to go visit.
