Just curious -- my C2 has the Carerra badge in silver on the engine lid. Others I have seen are black. Anyone know if this was a year thing or option thing?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

On the engine lid the Silver Carrera was made for the Carrera4 which also had matching silver brake calipers. The C2's were done in black You can match it with a Silver Crest on the front hood now.
The C4's have silver badging and brake calipers, the C2's have black, unless it was ordered through the exclusive program to be painted a different color.
didn't i see red Turbo lettering somewhere? u can order this through Porsche Exclusive dept. any color u want right?
Please contact Eric at bumperplugs www.bumperplugs.com He works magic with custom painting.
